1. Snapchat app redesign backlash 00:34
Did you finally get that new Snapchat Redesign Update? Techcrunch reported last week that 83% of all user reviews for the redesigned app were negative. If you got the new update, comment below with your thoughts. Im sure you might agree with everyone else ….

2. Deep Link option available in Snapchat Ad Manager 01:19
The Snapchat Ad Manager introduces a Deep Link option allowing you to re-engage your app users. Now when a user, who has your app installed, swipes up on your ad, they are directed to the location in your app defined by your deep link or If you reach a user who does not have your app installed, they will be directed straight to the app store to install it. This is great news for Brands and Marketers who have apps and are willing to explore and test new ways to re-engage their audience with Snapchat Ads. I cant wait to find and read what you’ll be doing with this new option.

3. Snap Inc. lays off more employees 02:00
Snap Inc lays off more employees this past week across 8 different teams, cheddar.com reports that there were TWO dozen layoffs this past week across Snapchats engineering team, partnership team and it’s content division. How does this relates to Brands and Marketers? It’s the content division team who produces original videos for the app that was responsible for working with more than 70 publishing partners like NBC and BuzzFeed. Is original content being scaled back on Snapchat? More to come…
