Watch the First Snapchat Movie to Premiere Beyond Your Smartphone
Snapchat has revolutionized the way people create stories. With just a smartphone and the app, it allows anyone to easily create a story about their daily life. No need for fancy equipments or complicated editing softwares, everything you need is inside Snapchat. This allowed a new generation of filmmakers and storytellers to emerge.
Through Our Lenses is a Snapchat-made documentary told by 25+ individuals inviting us to get a glimpse of their daily life. Each storyteller captured and edited their own documentary with only a smartphone and the app Snapchat. By allowing the storytellers to document themselves, it gives the most authentic representation of their lives, through their very own lenses.
The movie will premiere at the Bentonville Film Festival, a film festival championing diverse voices and women in the media. This will be the first Snapchat-Made movie to premiere beyond a smartphone and to the big screen.
